WALNUT BANANA BREAD
This Additive Free & Healthy Banana Bread recipe is so easy to make using a blender and a handful of pantry staples.
Perfect as a make-ahead breakfast or snack for the kids, it’s a Lunch box favourite and a great Meal prep idea !
1 Cup Self Raising flour
2 large eggs
1 Tsp vanilla extract
4 Tbsp cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 Cup Coconut Sugar
2 Tbsp Honey
3 ripe bananas, peeled, and mashed with a fork roughly a cup of Banana
1/2 cup walnut pieces
5 Tsp Chia seeds
1/2 Cup Plant Milk
1 Tsp Mixed Spice
Add the Eggs, Vanilla, Butter, Coconut sugar, Honey, mashed Bananas, Chia seeds, Mixed Spice plus half the amount of Walnuts and Plant milk to your Bliss Blender and blend until a smooth consistency!
After Blending take the batter out in a bowl and add in your Flour, mix together well.
Lightly brush a loaf pan with butter.
Preheat the oven to 185 degrees
Add your batter from the Bliss blender into your loaf tin and cover with more Walnuts. Sprinkle with Coconut Sugar!
Bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center of the bread comes out absolutely clean.
Cool the bread in the pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes.
Turn the bread out of the pan and let cool completely on the rack.
Serve Warm and enjoy 😉
