Dark Chocolate Mousse
  • 400g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 300 g avocado (approx 2 avocados), you can use 1 Avocado if you prefer.
  • 120 g coconut cream or Cream whipped
  • 100 g pure maple syrup or Coconut Sugar
  • 30 g raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla bean scraped 

Strawberries and whipped cream whipped cream (optional) to serve 

Cacao nibs and Dark Chocolate chips to decorate 


Melt your Dark Chocolate in a bowl over a pot of boiling water, on medium heat, once it melts stir well,  take it off the heat let it cool a bit. 

Once cooled add this melted dark chocolate to your Bliss Blender along with mashed Avocados, Coconut cream or Cream, Maple Syrup or Coconut Sugar, Cacao, Vanilla bean and blend to the perfect thick mousse like consistency. 

The blender really gets this mousse to the perfect consistency, thick, glossy and silky. If your mousse of too thick just add a dash of plant milk if it is runny add more Melted Chocolate & Avocado to thicken it up. 

Take a glass or ramekin add some Dark Chocolate chips at the bottom followed by some whipped Coconut cream, or Cream then spoon dollops of your Chocolate Mousse on top, decorate with Cacao Nibs, Chocolate Chips & Strawberries. 

Chill in the fridge for about 5 minutes !
