BUTTERSCOTCH BLENDER DOUGHNUTS
These Baked Butterscotch doughnuts are tender, soft, and full of natural flavour.
Best of all, the batter is made in a blender which means no mixing, easy clean up – just pour the ingredients into @blissblender Blend to a smooth consistency & then pop into a greased doughnut pan and bake for 15 minutes!
No mess at all which is the best part!
Oh, and they taste like a Butterscotch Cheesecake mixed with a Cinnamon Sugar bun, the icing naturally coloured with Turmeric, no additives, treat yourself, need I say more 😉
INGREDIENTS
I Cup Almond Flour
1/2 Cup Self Raising Flour
1 Egg
1 Tsp Vanilla
1/2 Tsp Turmeric
1 Tsp Cinnamon
2 Tsp Butter or Coconut Oil
1 Cup Buttermilk or Plant Milk
2 Tsp Butterscotch sauce or Syrup
3 - 4 Tsp Coconut Sugar
Method
Add the Egg, Vanilla, Turmeric, Cinnamon, Butter, Butter milk or Plant milk , Butterscotch sauce & Coconut sugar to your Bliss blender and blend to a smooth consistency!
Take out the batter and add to a bowl then add your Almond and Self raising flour to a bowl gently fold together.
Grease a doughnut pan with some Coconut oil add the batter mix and bake at 185 degrees for about 20 minutes a until a skewer comes out clean.
While your Doughnuts are baking, make the icing -
1/2 Cup Icing powder
1/2 Tsp Turmeric
3-4 Tbsp Milk or Buttermilk
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
4 - 6 Tbsp Butter
Mix together all ingredients in Bliss Blender and pop into the fridge for 10 minutes then pour over your doughnuts and serve 😉
